Japan is still dealing with a nuclear disaster at its Fukushima plant. Arkansas also has a nuclear power plant. There is growing worldwide disapproval of nuclear power plants.
Entergy disconnected the power for about five hours. I assume they did this to protect the workers that were cutting the tree and removing it from the road. The tree fell across power lines and was a safety hazard.
