Where is graduation?

What is the class motto?

“The world isn’t ending”?   Why would teenagers be thinking about the end of the world?

“We are just taking over”?  Who is taking over?

This looks like an ominous motto for teenagers to have stuck in their mind as they leave school.  Why would a high school graduating class choose this motto?  I am a graduate of Lake Hamilton school.  When I graduated, we did not talk about the end of the world.  This world has changed so much.  The world has become spiritually darker than when I was a teenager.  Maybe it is the end of the world.

“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.”  (Jesus)

Why did Jesus give us this warning?

Have you noticed how almost every school mascot is either a predator or something that kills?  The wolf mascot looks meaner now than when I was a student at Lake Hamilton.  Now why do we have wolves as our mascot?  Does anyone remember the story of Little Red Riding Hood?

Are you ready for the end?  Every day is the end of the world for someone.  Each day people suffer and die, sometimes in car accidents, sometimes from cancer.  There are many ways for each of us to come to the end of our time in this world.  Are you ready?  If you want to be saved, please consider these simple instructions:  Pray to God from any location, ask forgiveness for your sins, then ask Jesus into your heart to save you.  Jesus was killed as a sacrifice for our sins, but he took his life again, and he promised he would return at the end.  Will you be his enemy or his friend?  He will be all-powerful when he returns, so please consider this to be the most important decision you ever make.

What the class of 2012 should know:  Pattern of 12

I was wondering, what is “Ides of March”? So I looked it up.

The Latin word “Idus” means “half division” especially in relation to a month.

The Ides of March was a festive day dedicated to the god Mars and a military parade was usually held.

I just read about Mars in the Holy Bible.  (Yes… Mars, Jupiter, and Mercury are all mentioned in God’s Word.)  If Ides of March was devoted to the god Mars, then it means people actually used to worship Mars.  And Paul confronted the people about that:

“Then Paul stood in the midst of Mars‘ hill, and said, Ye men of Athens, I perceive that in all things ye are too superstitious.”
Acts 17:22

What would be Paul’s motive for saying this against the people?

The people stoned Paul, leaving him for dead.  The people later caught him again, beat him, and put him in prison with his feet in stocks.  Why did so many people hate Paul for saying what appears to be common sense today?  Worshiping Mars was a superstitious activity and most people today would agree with that.  But unfortunately, many new superstitions have taken the place of Mars.  Examples:  Santa Claus, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy.  If you went around telling people today in front of their kids that they were superstitious, you might get some very angry responses.

People had a lot of money put into those superstitions.  Paul was upsetting their money-making businesses.  People made a living from making figurines from metal and wood and other products made with their hands.  If people realized these idols had no power, the merchants would lose their money-making racket.

It’s probably like Valentine’s Day, St. Patrick’s Day, and all the other commercialized days. The corporations push it because they want the revenue, like this ad shows…

Celtic Mythology – more superstition.

If Paul stood outside a big store today telling everyone that these pagan days are an abomination to the Lord and we should abstain from them, many people would get mad at Paul today and probably try to beat him again.  The stores and corporations would lose revenue if people actually listened to Paul. Worshiping God is free and cannot be taxed. So even the government would lose revenue if we would follow God instead of men. God would prefer we read his books (freely available in the bible) and learn what he expects from us, instead of buying up all the pagan day merchandise and being stuck in worldly ways.

For the love of money is the root of all evil. (1 Timothy 6:10 KJV)

What motivated Paul to encourage people to abandon their superstitions?  Many people hated him and beat him.  It doesn’t sound like fun or financially rewarding in any way, does it?  So what was Paul’s motive?  He was willing to die for the reason.  What would that reason be?  Either Paul was crazy, or the people worshiping Mars were crazy.  If you agree that worshiping Mars is crazy, then you agree with Paul in that sense.  Paul was willing to die for Jesus, because he believed that Jesus told the truth.  I do, too.

Do they tell you this stuff at “church”?  Do they tell you to stop going along with superstitions, like Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny?  We are ruining God’s holy days with our superstitions, even today.  It’s time to read the Holy Bible (free) for yourself.  My biggest mistake in life was letting others read the bible for me.  Please don’t make my mistake.

Conclusion

Ides of March was a superstitious pagan holiday.  There is just one true God and we make him jealous when we follow worldly traditions.  Let’s abandon the superstitions.  Peace!

Could hyper-inflation happen in the United States? If the dollar is destroyed, then could the Holy Bible be correct in predicting a new currency, referred to as the “mark of the beast”?

“And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.”

Don’t accept it!

“If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

Could a one-world currency be this “mark of the beast”? If it involves worshiping a “beast”, then yes. Could the “beast” be what most consider an “alien from outer space”? I will not accept it. I would rather starve. Jesus is alive and will return.

Bill might not have been as popular as others sponsored by broadcast media corporations, but Bill did have a stage, a microphone, and a camera pointed at him. Bill had a platform. Bill had listeners. Bill had watchers. Bill had a message. Bill said he was given his own TV show on CBS. So Bill was part of the broadcast media system.

In Bill’s performances, Bill insulted God and those that love God. I left that part out of this remix, but even so, there were interesting bits of truth thrown in.

Before I repented, when I was still asleep, I found Bill to be humorous and witty. Now that I am spiritually awake, I see the danger of his hate-filled speeches, disguised as comedy, but even so, I sincerely hope that his soul is safe, as Bill Hicks is now dead and I believe he will be resurrected for the day of judgment.
